Former PC GP35 2338 and GP38 7856 pause |
Description: |
With former RDG SW1500 2770 in the foreground, PC GP35 2338 and GP38 7856 pause at Abrams yard in November, 1976. My railfan buddy unadvisedly crossed track 1 to take a closer shot of the PC units. Certainly, this was not a good idea safety wise even though I could keep an eye on any approaching traffic. Higher resolution Kodak Instamatic photo. |

Description: |
Light was almost gone as PC GP35 2338 pauses behind RDG SW1500 2770 at Abrams on November 20, 1976. My railfan buddy unadvisedly crossed track 1 to take a closer shot of the PC units. Certainly, this was not a good idea safety wise even though I could keep an eye on any approaching traffic. It was not something we did in those days even with the lighter security compared to today.
